Description

The Wākea Waikiki Beach, formerly known as The Trump International Hotel & Tower at Waikiki Beach Walk, is the centerpiece of Waikiki’s revitalized Beach Walk area. It is the first luxury hotel in 25 years to be built on world-famous Waikiki Beach.

The 38-story tower provides 462 hotel/condo units. Unlike typical unit layouts, Wākeaʻs unit configurations are angled to provide the best view corridors of the ocean as well as provide a strong design element on the exterior of the tower.

The successful completion of this project with its complex angled structure, articulated facade, and a high level of finishes, are a testament to Benjamin Woo Architects previous high-rise luxury project experiences and design sensitivity.

Amenities of the Wākea  include restaurants, fitness center, infinity-edged pool, and the Spa at Wākea Waikiki Beach facilities.

With a construction cost over $200 million, the Wākea Waikiki Beach  was completed within the Developer’s schedule and budget, which can be attributed to Benjamin Woo Architects construction administration capabilities, and their determination to meet the needs of their client.
